What the job involves
- We’re hiring an Engineering Manager for our AI Platform & Experiences team to shape how AI meaningfully supports practitioners across the Fullscript platform
- In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving execution for practitioner-facing AI experiences, with a strong understanding of the systems that power them. Fullscript is a place where you’ll be encouraged to learn, mentor, and grow
- Own the delivery and outcomes of a cross-functional AI innovation team, supporting multiple concurrent project streams
- Manage and support the engineers on your team through regular feedback, coaching, and career development
- Drive planning and execution for the team’s roadmap, ensuring a healthy, well-prioritized backlog aligned with company goals
- Partner with Product, Design, Data, and AI/ML teams to translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable technical initiatives
- Lead technical discovery and planning sessions, ensuring solutions are well-designed, feasible, and meet quality standards
- Champion strong engineering practices, including managing technical debt, observability, and long-term maintainability
- Monitor delivery progress, communicate status and risks clearly, and proactively remove obstacles to keep the team moving
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement, incorporating learnings from launches and retrospectives
- Contribute technically when helpful - supporting design discussions, reviews, or debugging - without being a delivery bottleneck
- Represent your team to stakeholders, keeping communication clear while advocating for both business needs and engineering health
