- Payroll and benefits administration experience required
- Experience with ADP WFN and Paylocity required
- CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION: CPP preferred
What the job involves
- The Payroll Associate role is responsible for processing complex multi-state payroll for a variety of clients and industries
- This role will also support technology implementations, benefit administration, onboarding, offboarding, tax registrations, HRIS maintenance and other projects for a portfolio of interesting and diverse clients

- We are excited each day by the diversity of client interactions and unique challenges such as mergers and acquisitions, layoffs, rapid expansions, complex HR and payroll matters, technology, and competing employment laws
- This position is a non-exempt, full-time role and will be reporting to the Administrative Services Lead
- Manage end to end payroll processing for 5 to 7 high-touch, complex, multi-state clients accurately and according to their respective payroll cycles
- Manage benefits administration tasks on behalf of client including audit and review of data to ensure accuracy. Audit all payroll related transactions to ensure accurate and timely processing
- Support HR Consultant's on client projects and deliverables such as new hire onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, etc
- Process new state and local tax registrations
- Provide second tier review for payrolls processed by HR Associates as necessary
- Provide back-up to HR Consultants as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned
- Competence to review client deliverables to ensure accuracy
- Ability to forge relationships and build trust with clients, team and carriers
- To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
