Role
Who you are
- You are highly skilled and detail-oriented with a minimum of 3 years experience in SEO optimisation and written content creation and newsletter strategy.
- You’ll have proficiency with CMS platforms, Klaviyo, Figma, GA, and Mixpanel and experience with tools like Ahrefs.
- You’ll have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Alongside this, you’ll have experience in managing feedback and client interactions and preferably, but not essentially, experience in the food industry or with recipe content
- You'll be successful if you focus on how your work can contribute to overall company targets, using your excellent writing skills to bring new audiences to the platform and show them the value of our product and content.
- The role isn't for you if you want to write long editorial pieces. We are currently focussed on an SEO and newsletter strategy to bring new audiences to the platform and are looking for someone who shares these goals.
What the job involves
- Execute our SEO strategy and newsletter strategy, reporting to the SEO lead.
- Under the direction of the SEO Lead, build SEO-optimised recipes as well as update existing recipes and collections to improve SEO rankings and drive increased Organic traffic
- Ensure adherence to SEO best practices site wide
- Undertake keyword research to uncover relevant and traffic driving keywords to optimise for in key SEO areas
- Craft weekly newsletters, for various audience segments, via Klaviyo. Carry out a detailed and varied newsletter strategy defined by performance growth lead
- Build sponsored newsletters using Figma and Klaviyo based on briefs from the accounts team
- Create weekly performance reports for newsletters
- Analyse data using GA and Mixpanel to identify top-performing pages and provide recommendations on ways to optimise output to better achieve business objectives
