- You like to understand who your content needs to speak to. You know what makes them tick, what sort of content they search for, what sort of content they want to watch
- You’ve got experience making content people want to watch and spend time with
- You excel at using storytelling techniques to create compelling narratives that effectively capture audience attention and engagement
- You have experience producing high-quality video content for social media, including editing and motion graphics
- You're used to collaborating with stakeholder teams to monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
- You'll be proactive with your ideas and how to bring them to life and have the ability to work autonomously when needed
- Experience working at a creative agency or in-house creative team with an outstanding portfolio of published work spanning different channels, from print to digital, including advertising, branding, motion, landing pages, and reports
- Excellent hands-on experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including AfterEffects - experience in motion design is required. Email and performance marketing channel expertise
- The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality design work
- The ability to think creatively and translate complex ideas into simple, clear, and compelling designs, present your ideas, and articulate the thinking behind them
- Excellent attention to detail and good spelling and grammar
- Quick and calm thinking skills. Confidence in multi-tasking, managing your workload, and delivering projects on time and on brief
- Independent problem-solving skills. A positive attitude, excellent collaboration, communication and listening skills, and the initiative to compromise when necessary

- As a Creative with a focus on social media, you’ll produce ideas, edit, and repurpose content
- You’ll create static assets that capture attention and design carousels that stop people scrolling
- You’ll understand how and when to use social media trends, consumer behaviour, and creative strategies
- This role is split 70/30 between creating social media content and other design tasks, so more general design experience is also needed
- We’ll need you to create visual concepts across projects, and champion exceptional design and craft
- You collaborate well with copywriters and stakeholder teams to brainstorm and develop creative concepts that align with brand goals and resonate with target audiences, fuelled by insights

On average, home energy represents 26% of our carbon footprint. Ovo Energy wants to bring this to zero by providing cheaper, greener and simpler energy to customers. They are analysing meter data to deliver easy, personalised actions, turning electric vehicles into power stations with clever chargers, and building energy-efficient heaters. For households, their offering is organised into four different energy plans. that include interest rewards on energy credit balance.
In 2020, OVO completed the acquisition of SSE Energy Services' retail arm for £500 million, meaning that the challenger brand now has around 4 million customers in the UK.
While helping Ovo members halve their carbon footprints, the company is also working towards becoming a net zero carbon business by 2035. The challenges ahead for the company include encouraging consumer behaviour change, shifting towards subscription models for home energy use.
