Role
Who you are
- They will be expert at driving large-scale change management in a fast-paced, high-growth, tech forward environment
- Minimum of 12 years in HR leadership, with at least 5 years managing HRBP teams in a fast-paced, global organization (ideally Tech)
- Proven track record in influencing senior leaders and driving strategic initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to lead at the intersection of people, business, and innovation, delivering transformative results
- Incredibly strong business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into actionable People strategies
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and strong relationships across all levels of the organization
- Executive presence and ability to convey complex information, difficult messaging, and the ability to influence to various levels of employees
- Expertise in talent management, change management, and organizational design
- Proficiency in leveraging HR technology and data analytics tools
- Proven ability to drive change management in a rapidly scaling environment
- Expertise navigating within ambiguous situations, with high levels of autonomy
- Experience identifying, designing, and deploying HR interventions within the business
- Demonstrated experience and a passion for strong collaboration with others (People team COEs, cross-functional partners, HRBP peers, etc.) to build world class teams

What the job involves
- Justworks is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of People Business Partner Team to guide our People Business Partner team in delivering strategic people solutions that drive business success and create an environment where our team members can grow, thrive and feel seen
- They will enable leaders to develop and cultivate healthy, high performing teams, aligning people strategy and programs to deliver on our ambitious goals of helping small businesses grow with confidence
- The leader of this team will offer strategic partnership, consultation and hands-on execution to deliver our most impactful talent initiatives
- This role will be embedded with the business, working closely with the leadership teams on all organizational and people related matters, including aligning the People strategy to business objectives, enhancing team performance, supporting employee career experiences and driving transformational people initiatives to accelerate growth
- Enable and coach leaders on strategic initiatives to drive progress and impact on organizational goals through the proactive engagement, development and retention of talent
- Lead, develop and scale a high performing team of HRBP’s for the organization, creating a consistent operating and partnership model
- Collaborate and partner with the People leadership in the development of key Talent Management strategies while using a data informed approach
- Guide and strengthen manager and leadership capability, leading the organization through talent practices including performance coaching, succession planning and proactive engagement initiatives
- Support organizational design and talent strategy through strategic partnership, subject matter expertise and high-quality execution of programs and talent practices
- Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to senior leaders, providing insights on people strategy, organizational design, and talent management
- Align HRBP initiatives with company-wide goals, ensuring seamless integration with functional strategies
- Act as a key liaison between the People function and business units, translating business needs into actionable People strategies
- Drive organizational change initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights to guide decision-making
- Partner with leaders to enhance employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning
- Foster a culture of elevated strategic thinking and innovation within the People Partner team, ensuring the PBP team is equipped to lead and influence through data-driven narratives
- Collaborate on the development of robust diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) strategies
- Oversee talent management programs, including succession planning, talent calibration and leadership development
- Offer expert strategic counsel and guidance on navigating complex employee relations situations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and enhancing overall employee experience
- Champion solutions that position the People team at the center of the CoEs, constantly pushing for innovative approaches to changing business needs
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices and regional labor laws and compliance to bring innovative solutions to the organization
- Use People metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of programs and inform future strategies
- Continuously assess and refine HRBP processes, technology, People platforms to improve delivery, efficiency and scalability
- Leverage deep data and business acumen to inform insights, recommendations and action planning to programmatically assess and address organizational health with your business leaders
- Identify organizational needs, and deploy impactful people strategies that better enable the Go To Market teams perform effectively, and scale efficiently
- As the leader of the People Business Partnering team, how results are achieved is paramount for your success and ultimately result in our success as an organization
- Partner with COE’s to inform, design and deliver expertly on People programs, with collective ownership and shared goals
- Collaborate with the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team to champion and drive strategic initiatives that foster diverse and inclusive teams, serving as a key advocate, coach, and facilitator
