Who you are
- If you love building win–win partnerships, converting insights into strategy, and using AI and data to find leverage, we want to hear from you
- 8+ years in Product Management, Product Strategy, or related experience in B2B SaaS, with a record of shipping high-impact work
- Experience in at least one (ideally two) of the following:
- Partnership creation and management (Business Development)
- Productizing and commercializing APIs
- Adapting core products to enter new verticals or segments
- Evidence of operating as a “PM as GM”—comfortable with market sizing, commercials, roadmap ownership, and post-launch iteration
- Exceptional external-facing skills: able to build trust with senior leadership at partner organizations, negotiate tradeoffs, and steer complex relationships
- Strong internal leadership: aligning teams, creating clarity, and holding a high bar for impactful outcomes
- Experience as a direct manager for other Product Managers

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Product Lead - Partnerships & Distribution who’s passionate about unlocking new ways for local businesses to discover and adopt Homebase
- At Homebase, Distribution means how our product reaches customers at scale—through:
- Integrated partnerships within the SMB SaaS ecosystem
- Extending the capability and reach of our public APIs
- Adapting Homebase to open up new customer segments
- In this role, you’ll operate at the intersection of Product, Business Development, and Partnerships
- You’ll shape channel strategy, deepen partner and franchise relationships, and turn opportunities into durable, compounding growth
- This is a unique opportunity to drive outsized business impact —owning roadmaps, shaping partner success, and ensuring Homebase becomes the obvious choice for local teams everywhere
- Lead and develop a team of Product Managers who drive the product investments required to execute and scale our distribution strategy across partners, APIs, and franchises
- Own the distribution strategy across embedded partners, APIs, and franchises—defining where we play, how we win, and which opportunities to prioritize over the next 12–24 months
- Lead key partner and franchise relationships, joining executive discussions, co-creating joint roadmaps, and representing Homebase as the product voice
- Translate partner and franchise needs into product outcomes by shaping clear problem definitions, informing roadmaps, and ensuring we build scalable solutions that unlock multiple partners
- Act as the connective tissue across Product, BD, Sales, and GTM, driving alignment, clarity, and readiness for launches while maintaining a high bar for quality and impact
- Partner with PMs on API and distribution capabilities, ensuring reusable patterns, strong execution velocity, and customer-centric decision-making
- Use AI and data to accelerate decisions—sizing opportunities, analyzing adoption, mapping ecosystems, crafting pitches, and prototyping partner-facing experiences
- Represent Homebase externally at conferences and franchise or partner events, telling a compelling and credible product story
- Test, refine, and scale distribution playbooks to improve repeatability, speed, and cross-functional execution
- Champion hybrid collaboration, using in-person time to drive clarity, unblock work, and build strong relationships across teams
Our take
Homebase provide employees and businesses with time tracking applications, with a range of other HR functionality built in. Homebase automates the process of managing employee scheduling, and also helps companies improve internal communications.
The company contributes to the reduction of paperwork in an office by turning an array of devices into time clocks that track hours and overtime, while also providing payroll support. This makes it easier for companies to remain in sync, running a more efficient operation as a result.
Given that Homebase's customer base of small businesses is not able to pay a lot for its product, scale is the key driver in the company's future success. With over 100,000 customers already, its significant venture capital backing will ensure that the company will be able to grow (notably it's investing in Canadian talent) to provide its services on a profitable scale.
