Who you are

  • Work experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Fluent German speaker (min C1 written/spoken) with excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in copywriting, storytelling, and content creation
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure and report on the effectiveness of communication and social media efforts
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Passionate about our product and customers: your goal is to help share deskbird's mission through great content, listen to our customers' pain points, and provide solutions
  • Able to work in a structured way, independently, and with an eye for detail
  • Excited to work remotely with regular team gatherings

What the job involves

  • In this exciting role, you will develop and implement effective communication strategies to enhance our brand visibility and engagement with a strong focus on the DACH market
  • The role also involves creating compelling B2B copy, planning and organizing events and PR activities, and managing our social media channels, with a strong focus on LinkedIn
  • 1. Content management
  • Develop and execute high-quality B2B content of different formats (text, pictures, videos) tailored to our target audience, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, newsletters, videos, and website content
  • Ensure all content is aligned with our brand voice, values, and messaging guidelines
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and produce content that addresses customer needs and market trends
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
  • 2. Events, communication, and PR management
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events, webinars, and trade shows to enhance brand awareness and generate leads
  • Develop event communication plans, including pre-event promotion, on-site communication, and post-event follow-ups
  • Manage relationships with event partners, sponsors, and vendors to ensure successful event execution
  • Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to promote company news, product launches, and events
  • 3. Social media management
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
  • Create and curate engaging content (EN and DE), including posts, articles, and multimedia, to drive audience interaction and growth
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize strategies
  • Engage with followers, industry influencers, and key stakeholders to build and maintain a strong online community

Swiss-based Deskbird is on route to become Europe’s leading workplace management platform that allows companies to create ordered but flexible environments.

The company has adopted a unique approach to workplace management, offering the first workplace software built around users instead of buildings. Along with standard functionalities like booking resources, the tool that has brought the company unique success is the ability, via mobile app, to identify who of their employees are in the office and thereby schedule meetings accordingly.

Following 2023 funding, the company will invest capital into extending reach across European markets, entering the US market, and to allow expansion of its product offerings. The company's 10 year plan is to be to workforce management what Salesforce is to CRM. A lofty goal, but the company is certainly setting itself up to achieve this in due time.
