Role
Who you are
- You don’t need to be an expert, but you should be ready to learn quickly and think critically
- 4+ years of experience in performance marketing, with a heavy focus on search platforms and mobile app growth
- Expert-level knowledge of Apple Search Ads and the Google Ads ecosystem (including App Campaigns, YouTube, and PMax)
- Proven track record of managing large-scale budgets and delivering measurable growth results
- Deep experience in designing and analyzing marketing experiments and creative A/B tests
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, BI tools, and Mobile Measurement Platforms (MMPs) such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch
- Ability to adapt with agility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with creative and technical teams
Desirable
- Fluent in Spanish
- Familiarity with SQL or advanced data analytics skills
What the job involves
- We are seeking a search-focused Performance Marketing Manager to lead our growth efforts across Apple and Google ecosystems
- This role is primarily responsible for driving high-intent user acquisition through expert management of search-based channels
- You will go beyond traditional user acquisition to think about how owned channels drive growth as a whole, leveraging deep expertise in experimentation and creative testing to maintain a competitive edge
- Primary Channel Ownership: Lead the planning, execution, and daily optimization of Apple Search Ads (ASA) and Google App Campaigns (GAC) to meet efficient growth targets
- Programmatic Management: Manage and optimize managed programmatic campaigns, ensuring effective spend allocation and performance across diverse networks
- Strategic Management: Lead and manage full-funnel search, YouTube, and Performance Max (PMax) campaigns to capture users across every stage of the journey
- Growth Mindset & Ownership: Think beyond pure user acquisition to identify how search and owned channels can drive holistic growth for the business
- Experimentation & Testing: Design and execute a rigorous roadmap for experimentation and creative A/B testing across ad formats, landing pages, and app store assets to continuously improve performance
- Creative Collaboration: Partner closely with creative teams to develop innovative ad concepts, test new messaging, and ensure assets resonate with search intent
- Data-Driven Optimization: Monitor key metrics (CPI, CPA, ROAS, LTV, and retention) and collaborate with analytics teams to understand attribution and user behavior
- Budget & Forecasting: Manage large-scale budgets and forecasting, ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximize ROI
- Lead with AI: Leverage AI tools to automate workflows, enhance marketing effectiveness, and drive operational efficiency
Our take
Leading mobile shopping and loyalty platform Fetch has seen explosive success in recent years. Its concept is simple: users receive spendable points in exchange for scans of their shopping receipts.
The app has tens of millions of daily active users with even more downloads, and has seen impressive growth, having now reached 'unicorn' status twice over. This should come as no surprise. Brand reinforcement is crucial to customer retention and acquisition - but it is harder than ever, with the fragmentation of choice on the market and the declining efficacy of marketing. So material loyalty benefits are likely to prove a crucial tool in creating and leveraging a strong customer base.
Whilst Fetch faces competition from similar receipt-scan rewards platforms like ReceiptPal and Ibotta, it grew into a profitable company in late 2023. And its using its most recent Morgan Stanley-backed funding to aggressively add brand partners at a competitive pace and onboard staff at a level that promises strong continued growth.
