Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for an analytical Growth Marketer to join the team who will be a strategic partner to our leadership team. As a Growth Marketer at Shamaazi, you will lead our digital marketing efforts, both B2C and B2B, to drive donor & partner/charities acquisition, engagement, and retention
- You’ll hit the ground running, working across our existing products including MyTenNights, MyTenDays and MyFridays, you’ll be the right hand person working alongside the Chief Growth Officer
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or a similar role
- Proven experience with CRM and email marketing tools ideally Customer.io
- Knowledge of SEO, content strategy and website content management
- Solid understanding of web analytics tools, and strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset
What the job involves
- **Develop and Execute Growth Strategies:** Together with the Chief Growth Officer, create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
- **CRM and Email Marketing:** Manage and optimise email marketing automations and broadcasts, ensuring personalised and effective communication with our audience especially during charitable giving periods like Ramadan and Dhul Hijjah
- **Content Strategy and Management:** Oversee the creation and management of website content, ensuring it aligns with our brand and engages our target audience
- **A/B Testing and Experimentation:** Conduct A/B tests to optimise marketing strategies and tactics, and iterate based on data-driven insights
- **Data Analysis:** Use Mixpanel to analyse marketing performance data, identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement. Report on key metrics and KPIs
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, product/engineering, and sales to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts
- **Stay Updated:** Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing
