Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Public accounting experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of GAAP and other regulatory requirements
Experience with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
Experience with audit coordination and working with external audits
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with ERP systems (Sage is a plus) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel

What the job involves

LeafLink is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their Finance and Accounting team. This role will report to the Company’s Accounting Manager.
Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations (bank recs, AR, Accrued Expense, Prepaid Assets, Fixed Assets, etc.)
Recording of daily customer receipts
Assist with the preparation of weekly accounts payable for processing
Assist with recording of monthly T&E transactions
Assist with billing and invoicing issues with customers (as needed)
Assist with the annual audit process, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of audit schedules
Maintain company accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements
Adhering to and helping improve upon internal controls and policies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting capabilities
Assist with special projects and provide ad-hoc operational accounting support, as needed
