Role
Who you are
- 3+ years with AWS services and core cloud concepts such as networking, identity, and encryption
- 3+ years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes in production environments
- Experience implementing and maintaining secure cloud and web infrastructure, including VPC architecture, ingress and egress controls, and service to service communication
- Experience improving system resilience through observability, capacity planning, and disaster recovery design
- Experience with CI/CD systems and deployment automation, particularly GitOps patterns
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or similar technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex infrastructure challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field

- Driven by our vision to redefine the Fintech landscape, our team is committed to building a secure, highly available infrastructure and arming our engineers with a comprehensive development toolchain, empowering them to bring to life world-class products swiftly
- You'll design, build, and operate cloud and web infrastructure with security, reliability, and scalability in mind
- Implement and maintain infrastructure components across compute, networking, and data platforms
- Apply security best practices to cloud infrastructure, including access control, network isolation, and secure service communication
- Monitor system health and participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and reliability improvements
- Collaborate with platform, security, and product engineers to deliver safe and efficient infrastructure solutions
Our take
These days, all sorts of cards abound, from virtual cards to co-branded credit cards. Imprint aims to stand out in the increasingly crowded space by partnering with businesses to provide branded rewards cards for customers.
While there has been an increase in the number of companies offering branded financial products to reduce costs, Imprint sees its card programs as offering a new platform for deepening customer relationships: less of the nastiness of credit and a much greater focus on rewards.
The startup is focusing on refining its embedded finance solution to fulfil its vision of an Apple-pay like experience for merchants and consumers.
Imprint will hope that its lightweight service, fit for smaller customers like hotel chains, will allow it to compete with the major venture-backed players in the space like Cardless, Apto and Alviere. And its $75M in venture capital raised in 2023 is going some way towards achieving these aims.
