Role
Who you are
- To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of modern programming languages, possess good written and oral communication skills in both English and French, work well with team members and you can articulate technical concepts to stakeholders with varying levels of expertise
- 3+ years of hands-on programming experience with Typescript
- Fluent in both English and French
- Experience with MongoDB
- Experience with Node
- Experience with AWS
- Experience working with an Agile development team
- Strong written ability and excellent communication skills
Desirable
- Experience with NoSQL databases
What the job involves
- You will be part of the Migrations team
- Your main responsibility will be to migrate data for clients into the Semble system in a timely and efficient manner
- This role has a lot of freedom to innovate and improve the current processes
- Coding (70%) - The work is primarily backend-focused, and you will be expected to handle large amounts of data and complex data relations
- You will understand our business data and how it can be migrated
- Client interactions (15%) – You will interact with clients, directly or through internal stakeholders, to answer queries and explain technical concepts
- These interactions will take place via email, telephone or video call, and could be in English or French
- Process work (15%) - You will collaborate with the team to make some process changes so that we can deliver more efficiently

In healthcare, overloaded systems riddled with room for error are in dire need of an overhaul. Semble (previously Heydoc) is one of the startups stepping in to try and fix the problem. Its integrated clinical system aims to help practices manage patient data and streamline their administration and operations.
Semble is not the only option in the market, but its focus on private hospitals and clinics may well work to its advantage - as many of its competitors primarily target the NHS. The company's cloud-based system aligns the company with the broader trend towards cloud-based operations, another good sign for its future growth.
A well-funded business, Semble has been able to remain at the forefront of innovation through adding automation and most lately AI to its system. A considerable influx of investment in 2024 will help to consolidate its market position in the UK as well as support the expansion of its newer presence in France.
