Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth startup or technology company
- Proven ability to source, attract, and close top talent across multiple functions, with an emphasis on technical and go-to-market roles
- Strong consultative approach, with the ability to build relationships and influence hiring managers and senior leaders
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse = a major plus!), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to track key metrics and make data-informed decisions
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Passion for Snapdocs’ mission and a commitment to fostering a high-performance culture
- Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities, open to taking on responsibilities outside of the core role while embracing change and collaborating across the People team and organization
- Bonus: you have adjacent experience in HR/People (ie: HRBP, Employee Experience, etc.)

What the job involves
- We are seeking a Senior Recruiter to partner closely with hiring managers and leadership across Snapdocs to identify, engage, and hire top talent
- This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is passionate about building diverse, high-performing teams
- You will play a key role in shaping our talent acquisition strategy, enhancing our employer brand, and ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience
- This role reports to the VP of People
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, with a focus on technical, go-to-market, and operations hiring
- Partner with hiring managers and executives to deeply understand business needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality candidates through sourcing, networking, and employer branding efforts
- Drive an outstanding candidate experience, ensuring clear communication and a seamless interview process
- Utilize data and analytics to track recruiting metrics, report on hiring progress, and continuously improve processes
- Collaborate with People Ops to refine and optimize hiring workflows, ensuring efficiency and compliance
- Refine recruiting and hiring processes, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and aligned with Snapdocs’ goals, while continuously improving best practices to attract top talent and enhance the overall recruitment experience
- Champion Snapdocs’ values and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all hiring initiatives
Our take
Real estate closings tend to be inefficient and fragmented, so Snapdocs provides software for closing digital loans and mortgages. The company provides a suite of cloud-based products that simplify the process, reducing the cost of deals and increasing the efficiency of closing them.
The appeal of Snapdocs is that it connects all the various parties involved in establishing a mortgage. This eliminates much of the friction that can slow down closes, making everything swifter and more efficient. Like many industries, real estate is starting to favour the online space for improved customer experience, which creates great opportunities for the company.
An impressive list of settlement agents has started using the Snapdocs platform, including Googain, Bell Bank and Lenders One Cooperative. With good early uptake, the company is set for further expansion within the market as its patented technology sees more adoption, integration and implementation.
