Senior Frontend Developer, Audiotool

• You have significant Typescript experience, and are very familiar with modern frontend tooling.
• You have prior experience implementing complex or unconventional application user interfaces in the browser.
• You have experience optimizing performance and memory usage in the browser.
• You have a passion for front-end design and UX.
• You build software with a product-focused mindset.
• You want to help contribute towards an open, collaborative work environment, where helpful feedback is given and received regularly.

Desirable

• Building a digital audio workstation in the browser is an unconventional type of application, which presents unique challenges that often require novel solutions.
• Audiotool is also unique in the DAW space, in that it leans heavily on a visually rich and interaction-heavy graphical user interface.
• Do not expect to use many common libraries or frameworks, we build most of our tooling from the ground up and talk directly to the browser APIs.
• You will be working alongside other frontend engineers, but also collaborating closely with UX designers.
• You will have daily interaction with engineers mainly focusing on backend or audio.
• You will be building a product that aims to empower music creators, and already has a very dedicated and passionate usebase.
• You will also be helping them connect and create together by contributing to the app’s live collaboration capability
