Role
Who you are
- You have at least 7 years of experience on a similar function
- An experience in Odoo development would be a real bonus
- You are familiar with Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, Front-end framework. Docker and Kubernetes knowledge are bonus
- Good knowledge of version control system tools like Git (we use Gitlab for CI/CD)
- Hands-on experience in functional areas like corporate and industrial workflows is a real bonus
- You like to suggest simple solutions to complex technical problems, we try to “keep it simple”
- You have a strong appetite for technical solution implementation, data management, analysis, etc
- Rigor, dynamism, curiosity and adaptability are essential qualities to achieve success in this position
- Fluency in English (reading, writing)
What the job involves
- As part of the high growth of our industrial startup specialized in end-to-end space mobility, you oversee the technical implementation of the roadmap of our business data solutions/tools including our ERP (Odoo), in relation with the Business Data Solutions team and our external integrator, for all departments of the company
- Be responsible and realize ERP customization and pther software developments (Python, JavaScript, proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages is mandatory)
- Guarantee the quality, performance and availability of implemented technical solutions
- Supervise developments made by our external integrator
- Enhance the integration of our software tools (ERP, CAD, etc) within our corporate ecosystem and external APIs
- Participate in the analysis of internal user needs, write high level technical specifications with our Data Systems Project Managers and our external integrator
- Conduct technical tests and ensure high-quality standards for delivered development
- Provide technical support, upgrades, and custom development for the whole software tools lifecycle
- Ensure an effective observability (logs, telemetries, monitoring) of the entire technical stack in relation with our IT team
- Be a driving force in proposing best practices and innovative solutions that can be integrated into the IT environment and optimize the company's processes via the ERP
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement and digitalization of the company process close to the IT team that’s manage the DevOps/DevSecOps strategy of the company
- Participate in the definition of the Business Data Solution roadmap

Exotrail is an end-to-end space mobility operator that is on a mission to allow small satellites to move in space so that the company can optimise its deployment and increase its performance whilst reducing space pollution. Ultimately, because of this, a new world of telecommunication, Earth observation and space exploration will arise.
Recently, the company became an official space service provider and completed its first "last-mile" delivery in space with its spacevan orbital transfer vehicle, marking a key milestone in space logistics. Alongside this, Extorail has formed strategic partnerships to expand its reach, including a collaboration with Isar Aerospace to launch multiple spacevan missions aboard Isar's Spectrum Rocket.
The company is focused on scaling up its known products whilst introducing and growing its newer products, including spacedrop™ and spaceware™ propulsion systems. With these innovations, the company is leading the way in space logistics, driving a more sustainable and efficient space environment while opening new possibilities for satellite-based services.
