Who you are
- Degree in finance, data analysis, or a related field
- Proficiency with Power BI, including Power BI Report Builder and SSRS
- Strong knowledge of MS Office products; familiarity with MS Online and Power Automate is beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to convey insights and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively with highly technical teams
- Capability to manage workloads under pressure and meet tight deadlines
What the job involves
- Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Process Re-Engineering team in Ireland
- Data Management and Analysis: Extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data into various analysis tools, designing output reports, and developing SQL queries to support data analysis needs
- System Modelling: Designing physical data models, user interfaces, and prototypes, as well as creating decision tables/trees and data flow diagrams to represent processes effectively
- Master Data Development: Creating and maintaining master datasets to support other analysts, following the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Process Engineering: Collaborating on process engineering initiatives where data plays a key role in digitalization and process optimization
- Power BI Expertise: Designing and developing reports using Power BI, including Power BI Report Builder (SSRS)
- Power Automate Knowledge: Utilizing Power Automate to aid in report distribution and data enrichment
- Interpersonal and Organizational Skills: Demonstrating strong communication, time management, and accuracy to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Project Management: Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines
- Reporting and Decision Support: Providing periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly) to Senior Operations Managers to support informed decision-making
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data for situational reporting, focusing on root cause analysis and identifying additional data sources where needed
- Administrative Tasks: Completing general support and administrative duties as assigned
