Role
Who you are
- 2-3 years experience in crypto project in business development or growth roles
- Experience with sales and lead generation strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels within an organization
- You are a quick learner and comfortable with ambiguity
- You have a track record of successfully selling complex solutions
- Understanding and experience interacting with defi protocols is a plus
- Experience with hubspot is a plus
What the job involves
- As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with potential partners, developing strategic relationships, and supporting sales efforts
- You’ll work closely with internal teams to create compelling proposals, represent Agoric at industry events, and help refine our go-to-market strategies
- Your work will directly contribute to the expansion of Agoric’s developer and partner network, fostering a vibrant and sustainable blockchain ecosystem
- Market Research & Analysis: Identify and evaluate potential markets, trends, and partnership opportunities within the crypto and the fintech spaces
- Outreach & Relationship Building: Engage with prospective partners and stakeholders partnerships
- Sales Support: Assist in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and sales materials tailored to potential partners' needs
- Event Participation: Represent Agoric at cryptoevents, meetups, and conferences to network and promote our offerings
- Cross functional: Collaborate with product, devrel and marketing for client engagement and technical demonstrations
- Data Tracking: Maintain and update CRM (Hubspot) tools to track leads, interactions, and deal progress effectively
Our take
Web3 is full of potential but it can also get messy, fast. With so many blockchains like Ethereum, Cosmos, and Bitcoin operating separately, even basic tasks like moving money across chains can be a hassle. And because of this, users are facing confusing steps, waiting long times, and overall having a poor experience.
Agoric is fixing that by making blockchains work together. It gives developers easy tools (like JavaScript) to build apps that connect across chains in just one click. That means a simpler, more user-friendly crypto experience.
The company is making big moves too, having recently brought native Bitcoin into Cosmos, no wrapping needed and its made cross-chain staking a one-click action. With strong community governance and smart developer tools, Agoric is shaping a smoother future for Web3.
