Who you are
- 3+ years of relevant experience in business development, venture capital, partnerships, or sales
- Bachelor's degree in business or relevant field
- Strong understanding of Web3, crypto ecosystems, and DeFi
- Analytical thinker with a curious, self-starting mindset
- Excellent communication skills – Must be fluent in English

What the job involves
- As part of the Business Development team, you will lead the charge in identifying, driving, and onboarding dApps, builders and partners into the Injective ecosystem
- Your day to day will involve close collaboration with the marketing, product and engineering teams to successfully execute your business development strategies
- This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a strong interest in Web3, particularly DeFi, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys engaging with builders at events like hackathons, and can cultivate strong relationships with innovative teams
- Conduct research across Web3 to identify suitable projects to build in the Injective ecosystem
- Serve as an internal leader to drive growth initiatives and campaigns
- Create growth strategies for existing and prospective products and partnerships
- Work cross functionally across teams to help build out product pipelines and launch strategies
- Conduct competitive analyses and continuous research on Injective’s business topics and market
- Foster new and old relationships with partners and community leaders
- Attend industry events and hackathons to grow Injective's presence
- Report new initiatives and progress directly to senior leadership
Our take
Financial institutions are increasingly turning to the potential of decentralized finance, using blockchain technology similar to that of cryptocurrency. However, development in that area is time consuming and prohibitively expensive. Injective aims to bring traditional finance institutions together with the decentralized finance ecosystem by providing an optimized blockchain and numerous modules to support decentralized app development.
Although cryptocurrency and blockchain-related firms are struggling against strong economic headwinds, Injective remains bullish about the future of decentralized finance in the Web3.0 sector. Centralized exchanges are likely to remain vulnerable to liquidity and stability issues and so users will look for infrastructure and tools that will allow them to have access to their finances at all times.
Injective also has substantial funding that it is using to develop new toolkits and upgrades for the Injective ecosystem, as well as to support developers on the platform. It is also investing in software engineering talent as well as marketing to promote community growth. These advancements for the company position it well to lead the charge in decentralized finance and drive innovation within the web 3.0 space, making tits future a one of excitement.
