Who you are
- Strong understanding of both the design thinking & product development process
- Experience in creating jobs to be done framework, journey maps, segmentation, heuristic evaluation
- Experience integrating user research into product designs and design practices
- Demonstrated knowledge of UX principles and research methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design OR equivalent experience in the UX field
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to efficiently plan and execute research tasks
- Excellent communication & presentation skills to effectively present insights and collaborate with team members
- Passion for understanding people and creating products that meet their needs
- Familiarity with tools such as Miro, Google Slides, Figma, Excel, Ethnio, UserTesting.com, Confluence, Reduct, Braze, Pendo
What the job involves
- We are looking for a UX Researcher- Contractor for 32 hours per week(4 days) for 6 months
- Conduct research & data activities, including weekly usability testing/user interviews/surveys to gather valuable insights around user behaviors, attitudes, and mental models
- Work alongside data analysts/scientists to understand usage to triangulate various data points in your research
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and product managers, to integrate user feedback into the design and development process
- Apply psychology principles & UX methodologies that help create intuitive and user-friendly digital music experiences
- Analyze research data and present actionable recommendations to improve product usability and overall user experience
- Work closely with Senior UX Researchers and designers to support research initiatives and projects
- Consistently stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to contribute innovative ideas to the team
