Senior Full Stack Engineer, LanguageWire

• Strong frontend development skills, with a focus on Vue.js and TypeScript
• Strong backend development skills using Python and FastAPI

• As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable web applications and backend services that power mission-critical features
• From shaping user experiences on the front end to optimizing service performance on the back end, you’ll work across the stack to deliver robust, high-quality software
• You’ll also play a key role in architectural decisions, mentor other developers, and contribute to improving development practices and team productivity
• You will be part of the Products & APIs Team, responsible for building and maintaining LanguageWire Translate (core translation engine), along with the surrounding ecosystem of internal and external services
• This includes robust APIs, intuitive web applications, and monitoring tools that ensure consistent performance and reliability
• The team embraces a modern tech stack, values engineering best practices, and takes a research-informed, iterative approach to solving complex product challenges at scale
• You will collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Product Managers, Full-Stack Engineers, QA Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers and reporting to your Team Lead
• Designing and delivering high-quality, user-centric features that have real impact across our global platform
• Building and maintaining full-stack applications across UI, services, and databases
• Designing robust, secure, and scalable APIs for internal and external consumers
• Driving improvements in code quality, performance, and system architecture
• Collaborating with product, QA, and engineering peers to build scalable, maintainable applications
• Leading by example in code reviews, mentoring, and technical decision-making
