Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in-house at a tech startup
- Experience sourcing and hiring for Engineering/Product/Design or Business/GTM roles (at least one required, both preferable)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for delivering a great candidate experience
- BA/BS degree preferred
What the job involves

- Help Nooks grow by supporting our recruiting efforts across various departments
- You'll collaborate with team leads to understand their hiring needs, source candidates, and manage the end-to-end recruiting process
- Your ability to build strong relationships and proactively drive the recruiting process will be key to our continued success
- Full-cycle recruiting for a range of roles (tech, business, etc.), from sourcing to onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and develop job descriptions
- Source candidates through various channels (online platforms, referrals, etc.)
- Manage candidate relationships, ensuring a positive and smooth experience throughout the process
- Maintain accurate recruiting metrics and provide regular updates to the team on progress
- Assist in building and maintaining a pipeline of top talent, especially in areas where we are expanding
Our take
For many businesses, the rise in hybrid and remote working has lessened team building and collaboration within their teams. Nooks was founded in 2020, initially as a virtual space for sales teams to collaborate and work in real-time, and to feel like they're working in the same room as their colleagues.
Nooks evolved from that social workflow premise and developed an AI dialer to automate manual tasks for sales teams. It also has a "Call Analytics" tool for sales teams to transcribe, analyse and improve upon their calls. Meanwhile, its virtual salesfloor still makes collaborating, team building and training easier for virtual teams.
While Nooks is up against large workflow management platforms such as Slack, its tight focus on sales teams lets it stand out. This speciality has led to several rounds of funding for Nooks, two of which came in 2024 off the back of massive momentum and growth for the company.
