Role
Who you are
- Strong proficiency in statistics and data extraction techniques
- Solid hands-on experience with Python, common data science libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy) and SQL, with a focus on practical data science applications
- Proficient in applying AI and machine learning techniques, as well as leveraging modern AI tools to solve real-world business problems
- Good understanding of A/B testing methodologies and performance marketing concepts
- Practical knowledge of AWS Quicksight or similar BI tools
- Extensive experience in ML projects related to Anomaly detection, Trend analysis, Marketing mix modeling or Multi-touch attribution models
- Experience in e-commerce or platform-based businesses
- Bonus: Academic background in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or a related quantitative field
What the job involves
- Design, build, and validate statistical models and predictive analyses to inform business decisions
- Work with large language models (LLMs), improve retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and explore new AI technologies to drive product innovation
- Formulate testable, actionable hypotheses and design experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to validate or falsify them
- Analyze data funnels and user journeys to identify drop-offs, friction points, and opportunities for optimization
- Collaborate with performance marketing teams to uncover data-driven insights and improve campaign efficiency
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs), build monitoring tools or dashboards (Quicksight), and track progress toward business goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally using tools like Jira to document work, communicate progress, and manage data-related tasks
- Communicate findings to stakeholders, translate insights into actionable recommendations, and drive follow-through on implementation

When the anonymous profile is completed, companies contact candidates with relevant offers and are only charged a fee if a position is filled. Pflegia demonstrates its commitment to long-term relationships with employers by refunding this fee if the caregiver leaves within the probationary period, which sets it apart from standard recruitment agencies.
Pflegia was founded in 2018 with hopes of improving job satisfaction for nurses, which then plummeted during the pandemic. The platform hosts over 5000 employers and over 100,000 nurses, with that number growing every day, and has the chance to make a long-term, sustainable impact on hiring in the healthcare system.
