Tax Analyst, Sonos

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 0–2 years of relevant tax or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of fundamental accounting and tax principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with general ledger or ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams

• The Tax Analyst will play a key role in maintaining accurate tax reporting, ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and helping streamline processes through automation and collaboration with Finance and Accounting

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local income tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws
• Assist with quarterly and annual tax provisions, supporting ASC 740 calculations and documentation
• Collaborate with internal Finance and Accounting teams to reconcile tax accounts and ensure accuracy of general ledger entries
• Support internal and external tax audits by gathering documentation and preparing responses
• Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments and assess potential impacts to Sonos
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, leveraging automation tools where possible to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Assist with global tax compliance, including indirect tax filings and international reporting as needed
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives to support Sonos’ financial strategy
