Role
Who you are
- TealBook is looking for a dynamic Project Manager who thrives in fast-paced, start-up environments and who can expertly manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results on time
- Experience in the data or procurement field is a plus
- Understand software development processes and follow complex technical projects
- Review and comprehend detailed technical Jira tickets
- Proficiency in task management and prioritization to ensure critical tasks are completed on time and project goals are met
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibit a high level of organization and attention to detail
- Bring experience from software startup environments
- Experience in the fields of data or procurement is an advantage
- Assertive and proactive with a "pusher" mentality
- Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a drive for excellence
- Skilled at influencing and coordinating without direct authority
- 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a startup environment
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in a software development environment
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Jira
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a startup environment and adapt to changing priorities
- PMP certification is a plus
What the job involves
- This role will leverage a deep understanding of Agile methodologies, Jira, and technical processes to oversee projects involving 10-15 team members
- Manage complex software projects involving 10-15 team members
- Plan and execute software projects with precision
- Utilize Agile methodologies and Jira for effective project management
- Coordinate and align work across multiple teams to ensure seamless project execution
- Provide concise and relevant context before meetings
- Connect discussions across multiple meetings and timeframes to maintain project continuity
- Create and maintain project timelines and plans to ensure on-time delivery
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, UI/UX, backend, and frontend

Accessing supplier data allows companies to improve supply chain agility and make procurement more efficient, but existing methods of self-reported data have room for improvement. The data is often not expansive enough for truly beneficial insights and is not announced until it is too late to be used, showing a demand for predictive procurement data tools in the industry.
TealBook delivers a platform for procurement data that is driven by AI and ML, providing expansive supplier data to companies before it is self-reported based on analytics-driven predictions. This ultimately allows users to discover the right suppliers, optimize spending, and innovate upon performance with a large supplier data set, driving supply chain agility within both eCommerce and retail markets.
Whilst supply chains face innovations in logistics, inventory predictions, and other areas, procurement data still relies on antiquated systems. So TealBook has been smart to recognize this and augment it through AI. The company serves big names in the industry, such as LinkedIn and Nasdaq, highlighting its positive market position.
