Who you are
- The role is perfect for someone who enjoys collaborating with and influencing non-finance stakeholders at the coal-face of the business, whilst engaging deeply in the broader financial strategy of the Group
- 4+ years of experience in an investment bank, consulting firm or a similar role within a growth-stage tech company
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the organisation, while confidently challenging stakeholders when necessary
- Relentless, output focused mindset; someone who loves pushing through the noise with disciplined pragmatism
- To be proactive and self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership; someone who constantly seeks opportunities to create and drive initiatives forward independently
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels

- Advanced financial modelling and big data analysis skills, with the ability to deliver actionable insights
What the job involves
- This role will report to the Director of Finance & Strategy and will be part of a very lean, high-performing team
- The candidate will be a business partner to leaders across Commercial, Growth, Operations and Clinical, helping to drive decision making and performance
- The team is also responsible for Investor Relations and Corporate Development
- You'll be partnering closely with key stakeholders across Growth, Product, Ops & Clinical, spanning all clinical pathways, to help drive decision making and prioritisation - ultimately being responsible for driving overall top and bottom line business performance
- Building business cases and plans for new strategic initiatives across all areas of the business
- Strategic and financial planning, including yearly and quarterly P&L forecasting, and driving capital allocation decisions between existing geographies and categories, as well as new bets
- Guiding key investment decisions, resource allocation, and strategic commercial strategies to grow the business fast and efficiently
- Assisting with Investor Relations and Corporate Development activities

MANUAL is a digital healthcare clinic supporting patients with life-changing conditions such as hormonal imbalance, obesity, menopause and hair loss across the UK and Brazil. It does this with a blend of doctor-specialist services, prescription medication backed by science, and digital products informed by behavioural change.
It works to remove the stigma around health problems such as obesity, hormone imbalances and menopause through teleconsultations, testing, regular check-ins and a range of tools, supplements and medications to treat common issues like poor sleep, hair loss, erectile dysfunction and skin conditions. Originally focused solely on men's health, the service led a shift in attitudes among its customers, with about half the men using the service to treat more than one condition, indicating that they're not just seeking help for the worst health issue that they're experiencing. Since then it has opened its services to all genders with a hope to sift attitudes on a wider variety of health issues.
The company has raised an impressive amount of capital, most recently in 2024. And this funding is being used to expand its reach and enhance its services, particularly focussing on treatments for hormonal imbalance, obesity, and hair loss.
