Senior Engineering Manager, Altruist

• Experience - 3+ years of experience working as Software Engineering Manager within a high performing Engineering organization
• 8+ years of experience in software development and delivery, preferably with an experience in fintech/portfolio management systems
• Experience in building and managing large scale software applications in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Oversee technical vision, roadmaps, and system designs to ensure reliability and scalability
• Education - Ideally looking for a B.A. / B.S. degree in relevant fields such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Technical aptitude - You’re technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacks (we use React.js, GraphQL, Java, Postgresql, Snowflake, Kafka, AWS)

• As a Senior Engineering Manager, you are responsible for the success of your team that translates into running critical functions of the company
• In this role, you’ll actively engage in engineering and design processes while also providing coaching, mentorship, and leadership to your team
• With a strong focus on efficiency and a user-first approach, you’ll guide engineers in developing technical solutions and ensure effective cross functional communication across teams and with senior leadership
• Deliver scalable, innovative solutions that address complex technical challenges and drive customer satisfaction
• Foster a culture of engineering excellence through mentorship, feedback, and high technical standards
• Establish and optimize processes for effective team operations in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Shape and execute strategic roadmaps, aligning technical initiatives with organizational priorities
