Named after and inspired by mathematician Joseph Lagrange’s discovery of “stable” orbits in space for satellites, Lagrange uses its data-enriched protocol to create stable points for blockchain applications. Its suite of management services helps projects and applications being built on the blockchain to manage risk and increase project visibility.
Lagrange’s “ZK System” for the blockchain uses zero-knowledge security protocols that allow cryptographic proofs to be used in real time, maximising security and allowing decentralised blockchain apps to operate across multiple chains. Applications of ZK include on-chain liquidity and machine learning models.
Whilst comprised of a small team, Lagrange has been awarded multiple rounds of seed funding that will allow it to build out its ZK Coprocessor. It's already seeing solid results, with $5 billion in Ethereum cryptocurrency restaked on the Lagrange system and 400,000 ZK proofs generated.
