Engineering Manager, Stripe

• 10+ total years of engineering experience with a minimal 5 years of management experience
• Experience in building and scaling automation platforms with a focus on financial processes, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability to meet diverse business needs
• Proven track record in managing teams that successfully shipped and operated key financial services, fostering a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills that drive data-informed decision-making and cultivate a culture of excellence within the team
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams, promoting clear communication and collaboration across time zones to ensure alignment and shared goals
• Successfully recruited, mentored, and built high-performing teams, creating an inclusive environment that attracts diverse talent and empowers individuals to thrive
• Ability to operate with a high level of autonomy and responsibility, taking ownership of projects and driving initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the organization
