Role
Who you are
- 4 or more years of experience managing deliverables in ecommerce, software, or content production environments
- A strong proficiency in Excel, including writing formulas and using pivot tables
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Basic understanding of generative AI
Desirable
- Experience with SEO and/or GEO strongly preferred
What the job involves
- Creating schedules, managing project timelines, and ensuring that client commitments are met, keeping both customers and internal team members informed throughout the process
- Reviewing deliverables (particularly optimized ecommerce product copy and keywords) and providing feedback to Studio team when deliverables do not meet expectations
- Building and maintaining internal style guides to capture customer feedback and ensure it is being consistently and accurately applied
- Proactively engaging with Customer Success to communicate project risks and address potential problems before they arise
- Managing project resourcing tasks, including briefing freelancers and working with the wider producer team to balance resources based on company and customer priorities
- Maintaining a deep understanding of customer goals and Studio standards to ensure all deliveries exceed expectations and align with Talkoot’s commitment to quality
- Accurately estimating time, effort, and complexity of tasks. Reliably ensuring commitments are realistic
- Proactively identifying ways to streamline and improve production processes
- Technical & data-driven tasks including project configuration in Talkoot and managing digital project resources like keyword lists, product imagery and product data validation
- Collaborating with AI & Product teams on SEO and GEO workstreams, including validating keyword lists and providing feedback on keyword outputs
- Staying up to date on industry best practices for SEO and GEO

Our take
The rapid pivot to eCommerce over recent years, combined with a boom in online multi-channel shopping and eCommerce brands, has cranked up the pressure on content production teams responsible for product info and descriptions. Talkoot’s solution for overworked content teams is an AI content-generation software, which also features a host of content and project information management (PIM) tools including multi-language localization and configurable workflows.
AI content production is becoming increasingly mainstream, meaning that it’s become the sole focus of many competitors - Jasper, Copysmith, and Ryter to name a few. So, by expanding beyond AI content into PIM software, Talkoot’s product becomes more competitive, and relatively unique. That's because, even if rival PIM software companies like Pimberly are incorporating AI into their platforms, they're not doing so as a content creation tool.
So, Talkoot have been smart in securing a fairly unique foothold in a growing and competitive market. Plus, many are crediting the PIM market boom to the increased leveraging of AI, so Talkoot’s gamble was one that put the company on the right side of progress.
