Who you are
- At least 5 years of experience in product design
- Proficiency in user-centered design principles, information architecture, interaction design, and visual design. Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, communicate design concepts clearly, and incorporate feedback to refine designs
- Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and business objectives. Willingness to learn and apply new skills as needed
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts effectively
What the job involves
- We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Product Designer with experience and creativity to join our team and contribute to our design strategy
- As a Senior Product Designer at BigPanda, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and visual identity of our product offerings
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and field teams, to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that meet customer needs and align with our business objectives
- Design with a strong focus on user needs and behaviors. Research users, create user personas, and translate insights into engaging experiences
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define design requirements, specifications, and timelines
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from customers and end users. Use feedback to iterate on designs and enhance the user experience continually
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual language for our products. Create visually appealing graphics, icons, and layouts that align with our brand identity

Tech Unicorn BigPanda develops AI programmes to record and prevent corporate network outages through data analysis. Founded as an ad-tech company back in 2012, it originally had trouble maintaining its core services in a complex cloud environment, leading it to develop new software to help keep up with the rate of monitoring data.
As with the best tech companies, fixing internal problems resulted in happy accidents - new tools and products - and since receiving seed capital from Sequoia Capital in 2013, BigPanda has been a figurehead in the IT analytics industry.
Though there’s been a large increase in companies using AI for IT operations, BigPanda is still ahead of the competition, claiming to be the only AIOps company that focuses on bettering responses to IT outages and incidents specifically through event correlation and automation. With $110 million awarded in Series D and E funding in 2022, BigPanda is continuing to expand its operations, with little competition at its scale.
