Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, ideally with a database, data platform, or data services background
- Proven success managing and expanding Enterprise & Digital Native accounts in North America
- Hands-on experience selling into product-led, engineering-driven organizations
- Consistent track record of exceeding quota
- Strong business acumen with a consultative, value-based sales approach
- Database or infrastructure experience strongly preferred
- Product-led or technical sales experience highly desirable

- We’re looking for a Senior Account Manager who wants real ownership, real impact, and the opportunity to help shape how we partner with high-growth, technology-forward Digital Native customers across the region

- This is not a “run-the-book” role
- This is about leading, expanding, and winning within strategic accounts
- Own and grow a portfolio of named strategic Enterprise & Digital Native customers across North America
- Drive account expansion through upsell, renewals, and cross-sell within complex, high-growth organizations
- Build trusted relationships across all levels, from hands-on engineers to senior executives
- Act as the quarterback for your accounts, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing
- Clearly articulate Aerospike’s unique value proposition and translate deep technical capabilities into business impact
- Maintain strong customer engagement while identifying, qualifying, and advancing expansion opportunities
- Provide actionable customer and market insights back to Sales Leadership and Product teams
- Own forecasting, pipeline, and opportunity management in Salesforce
Our take
Aerospike is a high speed data platform that promises to reduce server footprints by up to 80%. Aimed at satisfying large-scale data platform requirements, clients include PayPal, Verizon Media, European Central Bank, and Snap Inc.
While there are other data platforms available such as DataStax, Redis Labs and Couchbase, Aerospike sets itself apart through offering no trade off between cost and a high level of performance and consistency on a large scale.
As massive petabyte data sets become the norm for large businesses, Aerospike realises the need for systems that can handle this in real-time. Its release of Aerospike Connect brings connectivity of Aerospike Database 5 with a range of big-name open-source frameworks such as Apache Spark, Presto, Pulsar, Kafka and JMS - making Aerospike products more useful to a wider client set. Impressive Series E funding awarded in 2024 is being used to further develop its AI capabilities, specifically around graph and vector functions, capitalising on the current boom in the machine learning sector.
