Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in a direct sales role, specifically selling in the digital payments space
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Skilled in articulating contractual, technical, and financial value propositions to customers, including executive leadership
- Talented in identifying opportunities and closing deals through strategic negotiation
Desirable
- Prior experience forecasting and managing revenue in a high growth/startup environment
What the job involves
- We’re a team of 30+ people spread across offices in Austin, Washington D.C., and New York City!
- The Enterprise Account Executive will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth for our new Card Connect product
- Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, you will collaborate closely with the leadership team, to cultivate a robust pipeline and enhance sales
- Your primary focus will be on generating new deals and establishing strong, lasting relationships in the digital payments landscape
- By thoroughly understanding your customers' and prospects' organizations—delving into their stakeholders, strategic objectives, and operational processes—you will effectively acquire new customers and contribute to Method’s success
- Develop a deep understanding of Card Connect and Method products and markets
- Create new revenue by finding, qualifying and selling the solution within the digital payments space (e.g. e-commerce, merchants, wallets, card connectivity, payment gateways, one-click-checkout and tokenization)
- Identify potential customers and navigate a complex end-to-end sales process, from solution scoping to contract finalization
- Partner with senior leadership and the marketing team to shape the long-term vision and growth strategy, focusing on key sales and growth performance metrics
- Collaborate with the go-to-market team to create compelling sales collateral, plan events, and implement account-based marketing initiatives
- Work with the product team to drive product and business strategy based on customer feedback
Our take
Managing debt payments can be a challenge for fintech developers, who usually have to build these features into their products from scratch. Method aims to make this process much easier, providing an API which allows developers to embed debt and bill payment automation into their own apps.
Though facing a competitive market, the company is rolling out new features such as instant balance transfers and real-time credit card transactions while regularly forging new partnerships to stay ahead of the competition. So far, it has grown a customer base of 60 customers and ~5 million end-users.
The company has raised a significant amount of capital, most recently in a 2025 Series B led by Emergence Capital. This will be used to accelerate product development and onboard new talent. As the fintech sector continues to surge, Method's product will be a valuable tool in allowing new startups to compete with traditional institutions.
