Role
Who you are
- A strong track record of managing B2B SaaS customer accounts and growing product adoption, ideally in Customer Success or account management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch (minimum C1 level or higher) and English (minimum B2 level or higher). French/German are a plus
- Proven ability to manage a high-touch client portfolio and navigate all stages of the client lifecycle
- Confidence in a tech environment and comfort with new software
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and work effectively with clients and high-level executives
- Ability to identify and drive commercial opportunities
- Transferable skills from other client-facing roles are welcomed
What the job involves
- As a Senior Customer Success Manager in the Benelux market, you will manage your own portfolio, which includes some of the largest customers in our region. As part of the Customer Experience team, you are responsible for customer retention and for helping our clients achieve their HR business goals through the use of our products. We act as trusted advisors, staying on top of industry trends and best practices, and are not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Successful team members are hands-on, demonstrate a high level of ownership, and are passionate about delivering the best possible customer experience. You will balance a high-touch, one-on-one approach with the ability to detect patterns and help cross-functional teams (Account Management, Onboarding, Product, Support, Digital Customer Experience) identify and address common bottlenecks
- While you will primarily work with Dutch customers, your portfolio will occasionally include English-speaking clients. This is an exciting opportunity at a dynamic, growth-stage scale-up where your contributions are directly visible at the company level
- Manage a portfolio of 60-80 customers, ensuring they achieve their objectives with Tellent
- Continuously assess customer status using tools and conversations to drive satisfaction, adoption, retention, and reduce churn
- Identify new sales and business development opportunities, collaborating with the strategic account management team
- Develop a deep understanding of customer goals and needs
- Master the Tellent software, working closely with the product team to provide feedback and influence the product roadmap
- During the first 3 months: You will focus on learning everything about the Tellent Suite (Recruitee, Tellent HR, and several add-ons). You’ll get to know our products, processes, teams, and customers. You will work closely with your onboarding buddy, who will support you with questions and will provide tips and tricks. By the end of this period, you will have received your portfolio, have introduced yourself to your customers, and have next actions in place for them
- Within 6 months: You will have taken full ownership of your portfolio, established yourself as a strategic advisor to your customers, and deepened your knowledge of our software and the current HR landscape
- After 1 year: You will have mastered our approach to customer retention, ensuring clients get full value from our products and achieve their business outcomes. You will have developed a deep understanding of our customers’ needs and made a significant impact by setting and achieving goals with your portfolio clients
