Marketing Operations Specialist, Circle

• 4+ years of experience in marketing operations with direct responsibility for system configuration and automation
• Hands-on experience with marketing technologies such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and related platforms, including workflow building, field mapping, and data syncs
• Proven ability to design, build, and troubleshoot marketing automation flows and system integrations
• Strong understanding of marketing and sales operations, including how CRM and marketing automation systems support go-to-market strategy
• Technical skillset with experience building automation flows and integrating tools to meet business needs
• Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and marketing databases, including cleaning, importing, and segmenting data
• Excellent project management skills, with experience running events and outbound sales campaigns
• Strong analytical and presentation skills, including data storytelling and stakeholder communication

• This position reports to the Director of Demand Generation & Marketing Operations
• In addition to collaborating with the marketing team, you’ll work cross-functionally with teams across go-to-market, business development, partnerships, engineering, and revenue operations
• You’ll play a crucial role in optimizing marketing operations to support Circle’s events and outbound sales efforts
• This includes overseeing marketing technology implementation, streamlining processes for event execution, and partnering closely with the sales team to drive effective outbound marketing strategies
• Act as the primary partner to the events team, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and maximizing event ROI
• Manage key technologies supporting outbound efforts, including HubSpot, Salesforce, PartnerPage, Gong, and Accelevents
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency of event execution and outbound sales workflows
• Enable marketing and sales teams with tools, reporting, and processes to manage prospect pipelines, track SLAs, and support campaign execution
• Develop best practices and standard operating procedures for event management and sales outreach
• Maintain and optimize lead tracking, routing, and attribution processes across systems
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to support evolving business needs
• Build, test, and maintain marketing automation workflows, including hands-on configuration, QA, and system troubleshooting
• Act as the primary partner to the events team, managing event campaign operations including registration set up, target list building, email outreach and post event trackingManage and optimize core tools supporting outbound efforts, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong, and Accelevents
• Implement and integrate new systems to streamline marketing operations and support scalable, data-driven growth
• Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures for event management and sales outreach
• Document processes, tooling, and SOPs to enable adoption and ensure consistency across teams
