Who you are

Previous professional software engineering experience building web applications
Proficient in Python and understanding of common libraries used by Python
Proficient in Django or other Python web frameworks
Experience with Java backends is a plus
Familiar with HTTP, REST and web API best practices
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server)
Experience with React, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS
Experience with AI agentic coding is a plus
A rapid learner with robust analytical and problem-solving abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

What the job involves

As we continue to scale, a need has opened up for a Fullstack Software Engineer who would bring to bear their unique expertise with the existing Engineering team, with exciting opportunities to extend the scope for this role longer term, as the product continues to push onward into future global expansion mode
Collaborate multi-functionally with product owners, designers, GTM teams, program managers and other Engineering team members to deliver for our clients
Conceive of, develop, and deliver novel solutions within a sophisticated and rich domain area. Learn and develop your career within a particularly challenging and growing part of the financial industry
Build both within the primary Navigator application and in other parts of Addepar's product ecosystem, bridging shared concerns for our clients across multiple product areas, with an investor-focused viewpoint

Investment advisers require speed, clarity and flexibility when managing client portfolios. Addepar is a wealth management software platform created with these requirements in mind. The platform aggregates portfolio, market, and client data in one place, allowing financial professionals to analyse and visualise the data they need.

Addepar currently tracks around $6 trillion of assets serving over 800 clients, including individual advisers, family offices, and large institutions such as AllianceBernstein, Bartlett Wealth Management, and Morgan Stanley.

The multi-unicorn company has been pursuing global expansion, opening its first office outside of the United States in Scotland in 2021 and a new London office in late 2022. It appointed new leadership members from companies like Oracle and Amazon Web Services. A Series G investment in 2025 will further accelerate its momentum as it continues to innovate its suite of solutions.
