Role
Who you are
- 2-4+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success or Sales with a deep understanding of the online advertising industry
- Highly organised with a strong attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, and a proactive, positive approach
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, (Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications (Google Slides/Sheets)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining high service standards
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate client needs into actionable solutions
- Experience with programmatic advertising platforms, measurement solutions, or verification technologies is highly desirable
- This is not a remote position, you will be required to work independently from our office spaces in Amsterdam
- Some Travel to the London office will be required
- Fluent Dutch and English both written and spoken to a business level is required

What the job involves
- The Account Manager, Netherlands role is designed for an experienced professional with a proven track record in digital advertising, whether from agency, publisher, or technology vendor backgrounds. This role combines strategic account management with commercial growth responsibilities
- The Account Manager is responsible for servicing all aspects of customer accounts and relationships. The Account Manager (AM) will oversee campaign setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a large portfolio of accounts, ensuring operational excellence
- The AM will work closely and collaboratively with the Sales, Implementation, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to deliver world-class customer service and solutions to the market.
- The Account Manager plays an integral role in recommending and implementing strategies for driving ongoing client product needs and will be responsible for educating customers about DoubleVerify’s platform; Pinnacle and how products can be leveraged to meet their goals and objectives.
- The AM will be joining a team of two working directly with clients from the Netherlands market
- We are seeking a fluent Dutch and English speaker who can own end to end client relationship serving as the primary contact and trusted advisor
- Conduct performance analysis and deliver actionable insights to optimise client outcomes
- Develop account strategies that align client objectives with DV (DoubleVerify) capabilities, identify and implement upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Contribute to Business Reviews showcasing performance insights, optimisation recommendations and strategic roadmap discussions
- Support in driving adoptions for DV solutions across Social and Open Web Environments
- Manage escalations and resolve technical or service issues, coordinating with internal teams as needed
- Ensure all client deliverables meet quality standards and are completed within agreed SLAs
- Regular client contact through status calls, office hours, QBRs in person and/or virtually
- Identify potential churn risks and escalate immediately to the appropriate salesperson and your manager

Since it was first launched, DoubleVerify has successfully carved out an impressive market share, and now boasts customers such as digital advertising giant Facebook as long-time customers. Its success is largely owed to the quality of its technology, which far outperforms that of its rivals. DoubleVerify has consolidated its success by expanding the range of languages its tools support. It has also expanded into new markets such as Australia and New Zealand, a key indicator of the company’s continued growth.
The digital ad space is changing constantly, and DoubleVerify will need to remain as agile and adaptive as it is at present in order to compete with rivals such as Tremor and Quantcast. But with a 2021 IPO, several recent rounds of funding and new product releases, it looks set to tackle its competitors head on and stay ahead of the game.
