Who you are

2+ years of relevant professional experience in web based Java or Kotlin development, preferably with Spring Boot
Exposure to Agile Methodologies like Scrum
Strong motivation for clean code, including mob pairing sessions and test-driven development
Responding quickly and effectively to constructive feedback
A proactive approach to problem-solving and excitement for learning new notions and technologies
Exceptional English language skills both written and verbal

Desirable

Experience in Financial Programming
Knowledge in running software on AWS infrastructure
Good understanding of DevOps principles
Experience with running infrastructure as code using Terraform
Experience in frontend development in a Javascript/Typescript environment

What the job involves

To support our continued growth and momentum, we’re looking for a Backend Developer (f/m/x) to join our Payment domain and work within our cross-functional software development team
Develop an actively-used SaaS product in Germany with thousands of daily users
Implementing complex business requirements with several up- and downstreams of data
Designing and developing backend (Java/Spring) and frontend (React) services on AWS
Applying DevOps principles in an infrastructure-as-a-code environment based on Terraform
Collaborating with our international team of highly skilled technical experts
