Role
Who you are
- Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from a French university
- 2–5 years of relevant and successful experience in commercial transactions; experience in the IT sector is a plus
- Collaborative spirit, with a desire to work cross-functionally and positively influence peers and stakeholders
- Prior experience working in an international team and handling contracts in English
- Ability to maintain high ethical standards while balancing competing internal and external stakeholder demands
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English
- Thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- Kyriba is seeking a dynamic Legal Counsel to join our European Legal team, supporting business operations across a variety of legal topics
- This exciting opportunity is based in Paris and involves working alongside a talented, innovative, and diverse team of legal professionals across Europe and the US
- The European Legal team, headquartered in Paris, primarily focuses on supporting business activities in the EMEA region
- Provide legal guidance to Kyriba’s management team on commercial contract law, including advising, negotiating, and drafting
- Manage transactional negotiations on local, regional, and global levels
- Analyze, draft, and negotiate vendor and customer contracts to ensure alignment with Kyriba’s policies
- Work closely with teams including Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Product Development, Security, and Compliance
- Handle legal matters related to data privacy (e.g. , GDPR)
- Create and update contractual templates, policies, procedures, and other standard legal documents
- Conduct training sessions and presentations on commercial law, policies, regulations, and various legal topics
