Role
Who you are
- WorkRamp is looking for a talented product designer with a strong background in user experience and visual design to join our design team
- 5+ years of experience in product design
- 3+ experience in B2B SaaS
- Previous startup experience
- Expertise in Figma
- Strong understanding of new AI UX patterns
- Ability to collaborate well with multiple stakeholders, with the ability to disagree and commit
- High sense of urgency, organization, and a bias toward action
What the job involves
- We are building brand-new (0-->1) products while continuously improving existing solutions used by millions of enterprise users
- We operate with a startup mindset, which means moving quickly through intuition, while also keeping a high design bar for customers
- You will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and influence all aspects of design at WorkRamp
- You will be working on both our core LMS product and new 0 to 1 AI features on our roadmap
- Collaborating with the Founders directly to help build and ship products quickly
- Working with PMs and Engineering on the day-to-day execution of our broad product suite
- Owning and maintaining the design system to enable rapid development
- Collaborating with the marketing and go-to-market teams to ensure product & brand design consistency
- Help manage design agencies we work with on both product and marketing
Our take
The widespread shift from offices to remote working has had a significant impact on the ability of employers to train their staff. Whilst digital e-learning partly provides solutions to this problem, existing platforms are often generalized for large-scale workforce training and can be unengaging or antiquated.
WorkRamp provides a digital platform that enables companies to develop training materials that are engaging, personalized and modular. The learning management system is focused on using employee data to tailor micro-training experiences based on job roles, outputting data insights upon training completion to measure the engagement levels and identify areas for improvement.
Whilst other LMS provide systems for organizations to build learning materials, WorkRamp's approach to incorporating data and personalization into the development tools shows promise at facilitating the additional engagement required in the current remote work landscape. WorkRamp faces competition from rival providers, including Learnsoft and LearnUpon, but has surpassed both in regards to funding, the 2022 round of which will be used to expand its team and customer success programs.
