Business Operations Manager, Rocket Money

• We’re looking for a figure-it-out operational swiss army knife to join our Card team as Business Operations Manager, Card to help us sustainably scale our program
• Go-to expert and Trouble-shooter:
• Dive into an operational area and develop deep understanding of current setup, procedures and data available. Surface knowledge and procedure gaps, then propose prioritized next steps. Become go-to troubleshooter for this area. Operational areas are likely to include Fraud, Collections, Bank Account setup / procedures, Inventory, etc
• Partner & Project Manager:
• Take over main partner, running meetings and shepherding projects
• Confidently handle sensitive, complex issues in a timely and effective manner – communicating and collaborating with the leadership team as needed
• Communicator:
• Create and socialize content using variety of internal systems – Share Point, email, Slack, Notion, etc. – to inform and align teams and jumpstart forward progress
• In your first quarter, you will learn the business model, industry, partners and major upcoming milestones for our growth. You’ll dive deep on fraud, collections and bank account setup
• By the end of the first quarter you’ll know more than most about our bank accounts, and you’ll add to the leadership conversation by surfacing fraud patterns, recommending next steps and running with implementation
• In your first year, you will step in to lead, or help lead, projects with unclear owners and/or significant cross-functional dependencies, supporting the scalable growth of the Card program
