Senior Finance Transformation Manager, Kraken

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems
• Deep expertise in finance operations, management reporting, and regulatory reporting
• Demonstrated experience with leading the development of project plans & project management
• Working knowledge of project and work-stream management tools such as Airtable, Confluence, Jira
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
• Experience with writing business requirements and technical documents

• The Finance Transformation team is seeking an experienced Senior Manager with a track record of working on finance transformation projects
• The role requires adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and process driven environment while effectively engaging with stakeholders across the organization

• Assess current state operating models and develop ideal target states by partnering with product, data, engineering, and other teams across Kraken
• Collaborate within the finance systems workgroup to automate existing processes across general ledger teams (treasury, accounting, FP&A, and others)
• Develop business process flows to evaluate gaps and areas for improvement
• Support process transformation, including technological and systems integrations and development
• Support building project plans and assist in governing and managing the cross functional finance program roadmap
• Develop comprehensive understanding of the needs of finance, data, and key stakeholders to inform product specifications and requirements
• Develop comprehensive understanding of the risks and implement adequate controls to mitigate those risks
