Who you are
- We are looking for an awesome Accountant to join the Accounting team!
- We're looking for someone exceptional. Someone that preferably has experience from a fast-growing company and someone that loves working in a fast-moving environment
- In addition to being self-sufficient, being loyal, and attentive, we are also looking for those who can easily get into complex questions and are not afraid of taking their own initiative
- In order to be successful in this role you will need to have experience from a similar role where you have taken a large ownership for a wide range of financial matters in a business
- You may have been an Accountant at a smaller firm or worked as part of a larger team at a medium sized business before joining us
- Most importantly you are used to being the point of contact for employees and work with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Bachelor degree in accounting or finance
- 2-4+ years’ experience in accounting/finance
- Experience with financial reporting requirements
- Experience in working in Netsuite is a plus
What the job involves
- You will be responsible for our entities in the Netherlands and Belgium and the main point of contact for Benelux accounting related matters
- You will report to the Accounting Director for the Group who is placed in Stockholm
- As an accountant at Instabee, you will make sure that we have correct accounting and effective processes
- You will always strive to find improvements and ways of making our work more efficient and with increased quality
- Monthly financial reporting
- Responsible for monthly and annual accounts
- Provide financial data to the company in an expedient and accurate manner
- Bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements, statutory reporting including annual reports, income tax returns, and VAT
- Inventory accounting
- Through financial control, ensuring the quality of accounting and reporting
- Account reconciliation and transaction monitoring
- Cooperate with colleagues, auditors, and other stakeholders
- Help colleagues and support accountants in your team
- Continue our improvement and digitalization work within Finance, as well as the development of Netsuite to optimize processes and routines

The last-mile delivery industry has become an increasingly competitive space, however, the turbulent economic landscape has affected even some of the most prominent companies, such as US grocery delivery company Instacart and food delivery service JustEat. While Budbee operates within a different market, its strategic consolidation with Instabox is a smart move to pre-emptively avoid some of the same challenges. With a previous valuation of ~$700 million, the merger of Budbee and Instabox (Instabee) has come with a new $1.7 billion valuation, a sparkling reflection of the company's success so far.
