Who you are

Proven track record of success in international sales leadership roles in the SaaS industry, with experience scaling revenue in the €10M -> €20M+ ARR range
Drive to achieve bold growth targets, with a passion for scaling sales organisations toward key milestones collaboratively with the team
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities with high emotional intelligence
Effective communication and negotiation skills to engage C-level executives and key decision-makers
Solid business acumen with the ability to translate market trends and customer needs into revenue-driving strategies and help the business expand to new markets
Acquiring the skills above typically requires 8+ years in international sales leadership roles in 2-3 different SaaS companies
Proficiency in English, other languages are seen as a benefit

What the job involves

We are looking for an experienced and hungry VP of Sales to own and execute our sales strategy globally
In this role, you will report directly to the CEO, and play a key role in our journey to scale-up and beyond
Your success in this role will be measured by the success of our Sales organization!
Owning and executing the sales strategy to scale revenue to €10M ARR and beyond, ensuring alignment with the overall company growth goals
Leading a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
Aligning go-to-market strategies to improve lead generation, sales efficiency, and customer experience
Developing a data-driven, results-oriented culture within the sales organisation
Supporting the team with a hands-on approach in building and nurturing strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders

As a more formalised and focused version of Slack, Howspace distinguishes itself in a crowded remote work tool marketplace with the use of background AI, helping to scale and facilitate remote interactions. Its various uses also help with employee onboarding and learning sessions, bringing a sense of unity to the remote work world.

Howspace was an early proponent of remote work culture and continues to release new products such as Steps, in 2022 a decision democratisation feature. Its founding dates back to 2008 so it’s no wonder that it took nine years to reach seed funding. As technology has caught up with its aspirations, Howspace received a total sum of $16.5 million between 2017 and 2021, when the remote work boom really took off.
