Role
Who you are
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree is desired; MBA, Economics, or equivalent business experience is a plus
- 8+ years of experience in payments, payment processing and product management, knowledge of tax principles in NA and EU
- Track record of successfully delivering complex projects in dynamic, cross-functional environments
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bias towards action, even in areas of uncertainty, with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones, to get things done
- Comfortable using data to inform priorities and evaluate impact of initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication and soft-influence skills
- Passionate about ChargePoint and our mission

What the job involves
- Reports To: Vice President of Product Management, Software
- ChargePoint is seeking a Lead Product Manager to develop enabling eMobility solutions for eMSP providers like Auto OEMs, fleets and charging network operators
- ChargePoint has a flexible platform that enables customers from many different segments to enable electric vehicle charging for their drivers
- You will navigate the complex relationships between charging station owners, property owners, leasing companies, fleet managers, drivers, third party charging networks & e-mobility service providers, and all stakeholders to build solutions that help the ChargePoint and the EV charging industry scale as the world electrifies every aspect of transportation
- Interact with key customers from a variety of segments, including charging station operators, automakers, fuel card providers, and fleet management companies while discovering, defining, and executing new features
- Define and prioritize detailed requirements based on well-researched understanding of market needs and trends
- Work closely with Engineering, Business Applications, Cx and Go-to-Market teams to achieve alignment on feature implementation and launch
- Work with cross-functional experts in the company to ensure that all solutions are secure, compliant, respect the privacy of all customer data, and are supportable and scalable for ChargePoint’s business including finance, customer support, operations, legal, sales, and engineering

Electric vehicles are predicted to account for nearly 30% of new vehicle sales by 2025, which means the need for EV charging infrastructure is on the rise. ChargePoint supplies just such infrastructure, with hardware, software and mobile solutions for "every charging need".
Boasting the world’s largest EV charging network, the company also provides complimentary services for drivers, businesses and fleets. These include, for example, a mobile app for finding and paying for charging, and project management tools for making the switch to EVs.
Having already established a strong presence in the lucrative and expanding EV charging market, ChargePoint is well-poised to assist in the electric mobility revolution. It serves a range of clients across North America and Europe, including Wells Fargo whom it partnered with to create financing solutions for EV infrastructure. 2023 saw funds secured that will support its goal of reaching profitability in the near future.
