- SharkNinja is seeking highly motivated Software Technical Project Management (TPM) Intern to join our team for Summer 2025
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a knack for connecting the dots across various disciplines
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities while keeping long-term objectives in focus
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, JIRA)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Enthusiastic about bridging gaps between disciplines to drive project success
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Passionate about technology, project management, and product development
- Basic understanding of software development life cycles and processes
- Experience with project management tools and software is a plus
- Exposure to multidisciplinary projects and cross-functional team environments is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
What the job involves
- Mid May through Mid August (12 weeks total)
- As a TPM Intern, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating the development of our next generation of connected products across the Shark and Ninja ranges
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, bridging gaps between disciplines to ensure seamless project execution and innovative product delivery
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and mobile app teams to define project scopes and objectives
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and information to align with overall business goals
- Facilitate effective communication among team members to resolve issues and maintain project momentum
- Assist in identifying and mitigating project risks and bottlenecks
- Support the triage of technical issues, ensuring timely resolution without departmental silos
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project documentation and progress reports
- Promote a collaborative environment that fosters innovation and continuous improvement

SharkNinja has been in operation since 1994, which is testament to the quality and popularity of its products. Since its initial launch in Canada, the company has expanded into the US and the UK. In 2017 SharkNinja was bought by CDH Private Equity for over $1.5 Billion, further proof of its impressive market value. Perhaps more evidence is that it brings in annual revenues of around $4B.
SharkNinja’s main challenge is facing down big-name competitors such as home appliance giant Dyson. In fact, through innovative design, it seized the market-leading spot in traditional vacuums from Dyson and is only second to iRobot in sales of robotic models. A 2023 IPO saw an extra $296 million in funding added to SharkNinja's pot and was followed by product launches in new sectors such as air conditioning and food cooling, indicating that the company is still full of new product ideas.
