Role
Who you are
- 6-8 years of experience in partnerships or account management
- Experience working in B2B SaaS, property management, tenant screening, and data industries (B2B2C even better!)
- Track record of significant revenue growth at channel partner accounts
- Ability to handle day-to-day partner operations while making progress on a broader partner strategy
- Demonstrated cross-functional communication skills and relationship-building experience, especially with product and engineering partners
- Basic proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Tableau) with the ability to query databases, analyze account metrics, and create meaningful visualizations. Advanced expertise is not required, but you must be comfortable translating data into actionable business insights
- Experience with consumer-permissioned data is a plus
What the job involves
- As a key member of our Go-to-Market team, you'll drive growth across Nova Credit's tenant screening partnerships through two essential functions
- You'll serve as the strategic advisor and technical expert for property management software partners integrating our solutions, ensuring seamless product adoption and client success
- Additionally, you'll work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to expand our channel network and maximize distribution through targeted partner marketing initiatives
- You'll own a portfolio of high-impact property management software partnerships while identifying and securing new strategic partners over time
- Success in this role requires a unique blend of account management expertise, sales enablement savvy, and marketing instincts
- We're seeking a proactive leader who can spot growth opportunities across the partner ecosystem and collaborate with our Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to bring solutions to life

- Familiarize yourself with existing partners in tenant screening and the partnership team’s quarterly and annual goals
- Support broader partnership initiatives by preparing development materials

- Support a portfolio of strategic partners in tenant screening; serve as the main point of contact for day-to-day operations and increase usage of Nova Credit’s products
- Review and analyze partnership fundamentals and identify operational gaps and revenue opportunities
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop partner marketing strategies
- WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR, YOU'LL
- Fully own key partnerships, acting as the primary manager externally and internally
- Lead initiatives that generate significant revenue growth across partner portfolio
- Stay current on relevant market changes that might impact our approach to partnerships
- Drive cross-functional discussion and decision-making on partnership initiatives to ensure strategy is in sync with company and product strategies
Our take
For the 15 million new immigrants who arrive in the US each year, it’s crucial to have a working credit history. Without this, they’ll be unable to rent an apartment, apply for a credit card or in some cases even get a job. The issue is that their credit history won’t have travelled with them, so lenders in their new country won’t be able to verify their eligibility. Nova Credit's founders experienced this problem first-hand, as Esipov is a first-generation Russian immigrant.
Nova Credit imports financial histories to enable immigrants to set up lives in new countries, with their ‘Credit Passport’. This is a digital framework that connects an individual’s credit history information from one country into the country where they are currently residing.
Nova Credit is currently able to import credit history from 8 countries, its most recent addition being the UK in January 2023. Since being accepted to Y Combinator in 2016, the company has since raised considerable funding from major finance players such as HSBC. Nova Credit has grown its footprint significantly, covering more than 1 billion consumer credit profiles, with further expansion in sight.
