Role
Who you are
- Freelancer with availability of around 20 hours per week, starting ASAP
- Based in Spain or in Europe, with a strong overlap with CET
- Portfolio showing both:
- Video/motion work (product demos, explainers, feature videos, etc.)
- Visual design for B2B or tech (decks, presentations, sales materials)
- Solid experience with Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Confident using:
- Figma for designing visuals, components, and sales collateral
- Google Slides for building and updating final sales presentations
- Ability to:
- Take a clear brief
- Ask the right questions
- Deliver reliably and on time
- Comfortable with iterations and direct feedback
- Fluent in Spanish, spoken and written
- Comfortable in English for tools, documentation and some async communication
- You like turning complex products into simple visual stories
- You are comfortable being in a support role, not owning the full creative strategy
- You can switch between motion and static work without losing quality
- You understand that your output will be used in sales conversations with enterprise buyers
- You can manage your own time and keep us updated on progress
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Freelance Visual & Motion Designer to support Hubtype, a tech company that helps enterprises deploy and scale AI Agents across messaging channels like WhatsApp
- You will support our Marketing team in creating product demo videos, sales videos, and presentation assets that make our value proposition clear to enterprise buyers
- Approximate split: 70% motion/video and 30% static design
- You'll edit and animate product walkthroughs, feature demos, and sales videos
- Work mainly with Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Prepare shorter snippets/teasers for social or sales follow-ups when needed
- Support the design of sales pitch decks and presentations, using:
- Figma as the base for visual design, components, and layouts
- Google Slides as the final environment where decks are built and delivered
- Create and adapt slides, diagrams, flows, and layouts for enterprise audiences
- Help with one-pagers, PDFs, and other sales materials in Figma (case-study visuals, diagrams, sales collateral)
- Occasionally, design social creatives aligned with our brand
- You will be working with existing brand guidelines and direction from the Marketing Team, including our in-house Visual Designer. This role is execution and collaboration-focused
Our take
Messaging is fast becoming the dominant mode of communication between businesses and their customers, but many companies are struggling to keep pace. Hubtype is addressing this shortfall, building customer service focused conversational tools. These go beyond simple chatbots to include richer conversational features like human hand-off, and elements of graphical user interfaces.
Ultimately, Hubtype's goal is to become more of a reference service for developers looking to build their own chatbots on services like Whatsapp and Twitter. This would theoretically open up a huge market: the demand for 24/7 services, frictionless contact, and greater automation, has meant business chatbots are in increasing demand.
It also means the market for chatbot-building is competitive, with the company's rivals including Rasa, Botpress and Microsoft Bot Framework. Whilst these all focus more on conversational AI, and Hubtype is committed to more feature-rich chats, Hubtype will need to keep pace with a rapidly developing chatbot landscape to retain their edge.
