- High level of accuracy and good attention to detail
- Can effectively manage day to day work, alongside apprenticeship qualification
- Good understanding of the MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- A proactive team player who is confident about working with others but also independently and can promptly escalate any issue and work remotely where required
- Logical and analytical approach coupled with intelligence, passion and a drive to learn
- Available to start the apprenticeship programme in September 2025
- You must not be enrolled into another further education programme at the beginning of the programme
- Be a UK citizen or have proof of your right to work in the UK
- Living in England
- Minimum of Grade 4 in GCSE English and Mathematics
- Minimum of Grade C in Three A Levels or equivalent such as BTEC Nationals
What the job involves
- The successful applicant should feel confident to use their own initiative and work alone where required with an aspiration to want to learn and progress
- The Business Analysis Team reports to the Chief Transformation Officer and is responsible for defining solutions to the problems and identifying opportunities that M&G wants to tackle through the Investment Runway
- The team is responsible for all Analysis and Design activity and deliverables which may be performed in-house or by strategic partners on an oversight and assurance basis
- The role in the Delivery Business analysis team will be suitable for anyone with an analytical mind and is able to analyse situations and data by drawing conclusions
- Candidates must be able to formulate their own opinions by thinking analytically about problems
- Define and agree the approach you will take to any given project
- Working with business stakeholders to identify their requirements. Capture and assess those requirements using tools and techniques that conform to pre-defined standards
- Work with cross-functional teams to define viable options to meet the requirements
- Based on preferred options, work with business and technical teams to define the solution (People, process, technology, data, impacts etc) to meet project objectives
- Produce detailed deliverables appropriate to the project – requirements, process, user stories, journey, experience
- Maintain and report traceability and design risk logs
- Attending meetings and supporting implementation of projects
- Support resolution defects / assessment of Change Requests
- This is a fixed term contract for 18 - 23 months upon which the business may decide to retain, subject to the Apprentice performance, headcount, and available funding
- If recruited into a permanent role, the individual will follow the career progression applicable to the specific role/department
