Who you are

  • 4-6 years in commercial roles (ideally within B2B SaaS)
  • Experience in top-tier, VC-backed companies or similar high-ambition settings
  • Proven track record in highly competitive categories, consistently hitting and exceeding quotas with perseverance and hard work
  • Consistently closed deals with ARR between $50k-100k range
  • You're career oriented and have ambition goals for yourself, making the necessary sacrifices to reach them
  • You move fast and set a high pace for those around you
  • You know how to adapt and adjust your communication style and approach depending on the audience, whether a senior executive or a junior operator
  • You're likely to build your own company in the future or have previous entrepreneurial experience, with a drive to contribute to building something of meaningful scale
  • You have outstanding skills in building relationships and in all forms of communication, and are capable of influencing and gaining trust

What the job involves

  • Our Sales team at Humaans is looking for an entrepreneurial, career-focused, ambitious, revenue leader with a growth mindset to join our team in London
  • As one of our first dedicated Account Executives in the Mid-Market space you'll be the engine for our revenue growth, at the forefront of building the company and a key driver of our success
  • It's an exciting time to join us as we already support hundreds of customers, including some of Europe’s top startups and scale-ups with global ambitions, and are now looking to scale our reach
  • In this role, you’ll need to build relationships with top leaders, executives, and decision-makers at some of the most innovative and forward-thinking companies in the world
  • You'll lead our revenue growth ambition in Europe, targeting promising scale-ups and mid-market companies (initially 200 to 600 people size, scaling up to 2,000 as you prove your abilities): this is a closing, hands-on role that has a path to greater ownership
  • You'll have full ownership and accountability on creating, managing, and closing your own pipeline
  • You'll use your intellect, instinct and research to define new outbound strategies, tactics, decks and messaging to tap into your ICP and win them
  • You'll get to know the product intimately, by spending time with Engineering & Customer Success, and are capable of articulating complex capabilities and pitching their value to customers as well as bringing their feedback back to help steer the roadmap
  • You care about solving problems for your customers deeply and go above and beyond to understand their pains and find ways in which you can alleviate them
  • You know how to articulate a vision and position our product roadmap and company trajectory in a clear and compelling way
  • You’ll be building relationships with HR/People leaders as well as with business transformation leaders and be present where they are

Our take

Human resources work is demanding and difficult, not least because few tools exist to cover large swathes of the job, and what is out there tends to be clunky and difficult to integrate with other company systems. Humaans exists to rectify this with a platform that allows companies to build a customised HR tech stack, uniting all of a company's people systems in a single, easy-to-use package.

As HR became more complex due to the move to hybrid and remote ways of work, HR tech grew into a major focus of investment. Humaans is one among a number of startups in this space which includes the likes of Darwinbox, BambooHR and Personio. But Humaans stands out with the flexibility of its approach, allowing its customers to develop their own HR workflows without constraining them with a one size fits all product.

Humaans has raised significant capital, most recently in a Series A round led by Lachy Groom with participation from senior Shopify and Slack investors. This is being used to develop the product and onboard new talent, as well as continue its expansion within the EU. With a solid product and a growing customer base which includes the likes of Pleo, Fidel API and Birdie, Humaans is well poised for future success.
