Role
Who you are
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment (VC, consulting, investment banking, business law, etc.) or an operations-related role, ideally in a fast-paced setting
- You are a recent graduate or nearing the end of your studies
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership
- Curious and proactive mindset - you like to ask “why” instead of just accepting things
- Understanding of basic private market fundamentals and an interest to dive deep into private asset investing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (German is a plus)
- Familiarity with automation and project management tools like Notion, Make, Asana or Retool is a plus
What the job involves
- As an Operations & Strategy Intern, you’ll become part of our core Ops team - solving real problems across private market investing. You’ll take ownership in one of four focus areas depending on your strengths and interests, and support process execution, improvement, and scale. This is your opportunity to learn fast, work hard, and make your mark
- Compliance
- Help us maintain trust with our clients by supporting robust investor onboarding and due diligence processes. You’ll work within clearly structured workflows (like KYC/AML checks), flag inconsistencies, and keep our controls running smoothly. Ideal for detail-oriented individuals with a calm, structured working style - and the ability to speak up when it matters
- Migrations
- Support the operational side of fund onboardings by coordinating the transfer of investment entities onto our platform. You’ll help map structures, prepare documentation, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and troubleshoot issues during the migration process. This focus is ideal for structured, proactive problem-solvers who like to bring order to complexity and improve systems sustainably
- Venture Operations
- Get a front-row seat to how deals are executed on our platform. You’ll manage investor onboarding, investment documentation, capital calls, and more - helping us scale deal execution with quality and speed across jurisdictions. This is for you if you’re a fast learner, clear communicator, and want to work at the intersection of product and operations
- Reporting
- Support the preparation and execution of investor reporting, a regulatory requirement for funds in each of our jurisdictions. You’ll help ensure that investors receive accurate, timely, and clear reports, working closely with operations, finance, and tech teams. Our take
Berlin-based Bunch is an operating system (OS) for investors to syndicate deals across private markets. Both founders’ previous experiences in fintech made them uniquely aware of the barriers preventing access to private markets and how to knock them down.
The private market investment has boomed in recent years, with around $10 trillion in assets under management. Considering the growing state of the market coupled with the company's current work to refine its platform, Bunch can expect to see greater demand and further uptake of its services. Bunch is attractive to customers due to how easy it makes participation in private markets.
Since its founding in 2021, Bunch has attracted over 500 investors to its platform and now administers around €150 million in assets. Following 2024 funding, the company is focused on growing its userbase and product capabilities.
